Lactation Services: Empowering Families Through Breastfeeding Support

Welcome, my name is Nikema Seay (feel free to call me Nicky). First, I am a wife and the proud mama of two incredible boys. Motherhood is one of my greatest joys, and it has deeply shaped the way I care for other families.

I have been a registered nurse for over 15 years, specializing in women’s and children’s health as a labor/delivery and postpartum care nurse. I have stood beside parents during first breaths, first feeds, and first moments of bonding; these amazing experiences continue to inspire my work every day.

Currently, I serve as an inpatient International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) at a community-based hospital, where I provide essential breastfeeding support to families, helping them build confidence and overcome challenges during those crucial early days.

But my heart extends beyond the hospital walls. I believe families deserve ongoing encouragement, evidence-based guidance, and compassionate support long after discharge. My mission is to continue walking alongside families, empowering them with knowledge, resources, and personalized care as they nourish and nurture their little ones.
